A quick practice pointer for my fellow appellate hounds out there.

When you file your Notice of Appeal with the Mississippi Supreme Court, do whatever you can do to keep your client's alias from showing up on the filings -- especially if his alias is "Two Pistols" and he stands convicted of armed robbery.
